“These last few years have been absolutely the most difficult I've ever experienced. Belonging to this community was really important for me for holding that hope, like for recharging my batteries.”
- ECLC Educator
We take a constructivist approach to everything that we do, and aim to be continually responsive to the needs of our member districts. Generally speaking, our agenda is organized around our four core curriculum areas:
Universal Instructional Strategies
Universal Design for Learning, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, Project-Based Learning
Social-Emotional Learning & Development
Student Social-Emotional Learning, Adult Social-Emotional Learning, Restorative Practice, Mental Health
Anti-Racism & Equity
Unconscious Bias, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Critical Race Theory, Identity Exploration, Restorative Justice
Change Leadership
Strategic Planning, Communications, Family & Community Engagement, Leadership Skills
Each of these curriculum areas is defined differently year-to-year as a result of member input. Each year we engage with our members to inform and help us shape the Annual Learning Agenda to ensure that the experiences we provide will address their most relevant and pressing issues. We are organized to be nimble and responsive.
Our annual agenda offers both in-person, online, and blended learning experiences, including our Quarterly Gatherings, our multi-part series, regional affinity groups, book studies, and opportunities to engage with expert guest faculty members.
