Joining ECLC and Power of Place in 2022, Allyson oversees the day-to-day operations of Power of Place Learning Communities as Director of Operations. Her main responsibilities include programming logistical management, human resource, payroll and accounting management, meeting scheduling and planning, and overseeing the Power of Place newsletter and website.

Allyson has more than 13 years of experience in office and human resource management, marketing, and executive administrative assistance for businesses and nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining Power of Place, she was a paralegal in the pro bono department for a large law firm in Washington, D.C.

Allyson has a degree in International Business Administration from Marist College and lives with her husband,  3 children and 3 cats in Northern Virginia.
