Paoli Olaverria

Program Associate

Paoli Olaverria joined Power of Place Learning Communities in 2026 as the Program Associate, Events and Project Management. In this role, she supports the planning and coordination of in-person and virtual programming for educators across Massachusetts.

Paoli was born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to Boston as a teenager. Growing up between cultures and languages shaped her deep commitment to community engagement and educational equity, building a foundation of service that continues to guide her work today. From a young age, she took on leadership roles in community and nonprofit organizations across Boston, including the Center for Young Women’s Health at Boston Children’s Hospital, Tenacity Inc., and the Trust for Public Land, to name a few.

Before joining Power of Place, Paoli spent over a decade working with the Boston Public Schools, where she served as a Project Manager in the Office of Specialized Services. In this role, she oversaw operational systems, coordinated large-scale initiatives, and supported a department serving hundreds of staff and thousands of students across the district.

Alongside her public sector work, Paoli is the founder of Sundial Solutions, LLC, a project management consultancy that supports educational institutions and nonprofits with strategic planning and project implementation.

Paoli earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Bryn Mawr College, where she was recognized as a Posse Foundation Scholar and received a full-tuition leadership scholarship. She lives in Hyde Park, Boston, with her husband and her dog.
