Many educators around the state and nationally have committed themselves to supporting our most at-risk students by addressing this engagement gap. \nAt Power of Place\, we know that educators are at their best when they work and learn collaboratively. That’s why we are building the Mass AltEd Network – a new network by and for educators that will remain focused on alternative education in Massachusetts. \nWhether you work in an official alternative school or program or are simply working to ensure the best possible outcomes for students facing barriers to graduation\, please join us for our inaugural meeting. All educators with an interest in alternative education are welcome to join us on Zoom on October 8th from 4-5:30pm for networking to build community\, lightning lessons to learn from each other’s successes\, and breakout discussions to support each other in our challenges. \nLearn more and register
